Understanding Your Profile

Your SwingElo profile brings together competition data from across the WCS circuit. Here's how to read it.

What's on your profile

Callback stats

Your prelim callback rate per skill level — how often you advance through rounds. Shown as:

NOV Callbacks: 8/12 (67%)

This means 8 promotions out of 12 novice prelim entries. Learn more about callbacks →

WSDC data

If you're in the WSDC registry, your profile shows your official level, division, and point totals. Learn more about WSDC points →

Competition history

How many events you've competed at, your years active, and your most recent competitions.

Results & achievements

A chronological list of every result we have for you — most recent first — each dated to the real event month. Finals placements show your finish (e.g. Advanced J&J final · 3rd of 28); wins and podiums are highlighted, and division promotions are flagged.

When you reach a final at an event, the prelim callback from that same event is folded into the final to keep the list clean. You can still see it: use the "Show N prelim callbacks" toggle at the bottom of the list. Expanding it does two things at once:

  • It lists your standalone callbacks — events where you were called back from prelims but didn't reach a final.
  • It reveals an "↑ Advanced from prelims · 11th of 44" line under each final, showing how you ranked in that event's prelim round before advancing.

Collapse the toggle to hide both again. If you only have prelim callbacks and no finals, they're shown inline with no toggle needed.

Leader & follower tabs

WSDC tracks leaders and followers as separate ladders. If you compete in both roles, your profile splits into Leader and Follower tabs so each role's points, results, and stats stay separate. Dancers who compete in a single role see one combined view with no tabs.

Searching for yourself

Start typing your name in the search box and matching dancers appear as you type. The search matches partial names and handles common variations — if your name is spelled differently across events (it happens), results from all spellings are unified. Press Enter to jump straight to the top match, or tap any result to open that profile. On a phone the search box expands to fill the screen while you type, so the results are easy to read.

Searching for events

Switch to event search to find specific competitions. Search by current name or historical name — aliases are resolved automatically. Learn more about events →
